The Clark Couch - Ice Mint

What is a Clark Couch?

It’s a fort, it’s a toy, it’s a plane…it’s a super-couch! Inspired by my own little superman, the Clark Couch can be a simple cozy, comfy, little couch or an infinite amount of imaginative things. 

Our Clark Couch features:

• "The Pyramids" - two long pyramid supportive pillows
• "The Support Layer" - one medium width rectangular soft cushion. This cushion has a mid seam and can fold into whatever your little one’s want it to be.  It’s squishy, soft and strong so your little superheroes will have a safe landing after rolls and tumbles. 
• "The Base" - one large width rectangular base cushion. This cushion is the sturdy, solid bottom of the bunch. The base cushion also has a mid seam and can fold into all sorts of creative forms. 

What is different about our Clark Couch?

Though the structure is very similar to a few other play couches on the market, The Clark Couch is designed to withstand spills of all kinds.  Our low VOC foam is protected by what we call the “middle man” (a water resistant zippered layer) underneath the soft micro suede exterior.  This makes for much easier removal of the covers for washing – did we mention that the cover is machine washable? Simply gentle wash on cold and tumble dry on low heat or even better hang to dry to avoid any shrinkage. 

How does my Clark Couch come?

The Clark Couch will come “shrinkwrapped” inside its sturdy box. Due to the compression, it will need some breathing room before it opens up fully to its form.  Sometimes it can take up to a week for it to completely decompress.  Does that mean the kids have to wait to play with it? Nope. Sometimes it even helps it to find its form faster.  Some of the initial wrinkles will also wash out with the first wash or may just stretch out as it expands over time. The Clark Couch must be removed from its box as soon as possible and should be examined by the buyer within 72 hours upon arrival.

Is your foam safe?

Yes! All our foam products are: 

• Made without PBDEs, TDCPP for TCEP ("Tris") flame retardants
• Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
• Made without formaldehyde
• Made without phthalates 
• Low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions for indoor air quality 

What material is used?

The Clark Couch is made of a brushed micro-suede (polyester) that is perfect to prevent pieces from slipping away from each other and hold builds together! It has a soft low pile, and a velvety finish. 

Can I pick my Clark Couch up?

YES! Our warehouse and office is located just west of the GTA in Burlington, Ontario. If you are interesting in picking up, just check the pick up box in the cart section when ordering online. You will be contacted to confirm your requested pickup date and time. There are no charge for pick-ups. 

What is the Clark Couch return policy?

All purchases of a Malarkey Kids Clark Couch will be considered a final sale, with the exception of items, which may have arrived damaged or incorrect upon delivery.  Any immediate manufacturing defects should be reported to us at within 72 hours of receiving the product. We hope that you never receive a damaged or incorrect item from us. However, in the event that it should happen, please contact warehouse@malarkeykids.com with the subject line Clark Couch return/exchange. We ask that you include all of your contact information, your order number, reason for the return/exchange along with applicable photos. 

We will assess returns/exchanges for these reasons on a case by case basis. 

If you received the wrong item and a return/exchange is accepted, we will send you instructions to return incorrect items, and send the correct item to you as soon as possible at no additional charge. 

If a replacement item is not available, we will gladly refund your order. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for a refund to the original method of payment.

We do not accept returns/exchanges on items damaged through normal use. 

Do you have a warranty?

We offer a 6-month warranty on the seams, fabric, zippers, and foam. To start a warranty claim, please contact warehouse@malarkeykids.com. We will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note – this warranty does not cover damage from physical abuse to the structure and/or material, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, tears, snags, food or liquid stains, zipper malfunction due to fabric entrapment and pulling, yanking. 

Suggested use by children aged 1 year and older, children should always be supervised while playing with the Clark Couch. Malarkey Kids is not responsible for any injuries that occur from using the Clark Couch.
